The Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province has just publicly announced the selling price and rental price of social housing at the Social Housing Area No. 02 project in Area No. 5, No. 9 in the Southern Urban Area, Bac Giang city (now Bac Giang ward and Tan Tien ward, Bac Ninh province).

Project name: Social housing area No. 02 in area No. 5, No. 9 in the Southern urban area, Bac Giang city (the project also has the commercial name Ecohome Song Thuong - PV).
Project implementation location: Bac Giang ward and Tan Tien ward, Bac Ninh province.
Investor: Thu Do Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company.
Selling price: 18,918,026 VND/m2 (selling price includes VAT).
According to statistics from Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, with the above price, the Ecohome Song Thuong project has become the social housing project with the highest price in Bac Ninh province at present.
The social housing project with the second highest selling price is the Tung Bach social housing project (Phuong Lieu ward).
As of October 2025, Bac Ninh province has more than 20 social housing projects eligible for business, some projects have selling prices ranging from 15 - 17 million VND/m2, while most of the projects have prices ranging from over 10 million VND - over 13 million VND/m2.
In particular, there are projects with a selling price of only over VND 7 million/m2 because they have been completed for a long time, the number of apartments with such a selling price is only a few apartments.
According to the Ministry of Construction, Bac Ninh province is the leading locality in the country in developing social housing.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, in the first 9 months of 2025, the locality has completed 12,649 more apartments, reaching about 80% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister in 2025 (15,920 apartments).
Regarding the target for 2026, Bac Ninh province registered to develop 20,000 social housing units (an increase of more than 2,000 units compared to the target assigned by the Government).
