Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung has just inspected and surveyed the investment plan for the construction of a landscape road combined with urban development embankment and services on both sides of the Day River (from Non Nuoc bridge to Ben Moi bridge).
Accordingly, the scope of the study is on the right bank of the Day River (in Hoa Lu and Tay Hoa Lu wards) from Gian Khau Bridge to the intersection with Tran Nhan Tong Street; length of 13.1km. On the left bank of the Day River (in the area of Phong Doanh and Y Yen communes), from the Hoang Long and Day river crosses to the CT.01 Expressway; 13.7km long.
The proposed plan on the right bank of the Day River is the section from Gian Khau Bridge to Non Nuoc Bridge, 9.1km long, 105m wide; the section from Non Nuoc Bridge to Tran Nhan Tong Street, 3.2km long; about 80m wide; including landscape space, 25m walking path and 55m under the dike.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the Day River area - the section under investment research for the project currently has 3 bridges connecting the two banks of the river including: Non Nuoc bridge, railway bridge (old Non Nuoc bridge) and Ben Moi bridge. In addition, the distance from the Day River along the Non Nuoc bridge to the Ninh Binh Provincial Administrative Center is only about 1km.
The conclusion of Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung stated that researching and investing in the construction of a landscape route combined with urban development embankments and services on both sides of the Day River is necessary to contribute to urban beautification, building a modern and unique urban image; expanding space, creating room and momentum for development of the area on both sides of the Day River; fully promoting the outstanding potential, competitive advantages and unique identity of the new Ninh Binh province (after merging the three provinces of Ha Nam - Nam Dinh - Ninh Binh).
To ensure effective and reasonable project implementation, compliance with legal regulations and in line with the development orientation of the province in the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of communes and wards to continue to focus and proactively carry out assigned tasks.
For the Department of Construction, urgently review relevant plans; advise and propose plans to establish and adjust plans to serve as a basis for project implementation according to regulations.
The People's Committees of communes, wards and relevant units and localities strictly manage land and construction in the area; resolutely prevent violations of land, construction, speculation, and policy exploitation; review the current status of land in areas on both sides of the Day River, propose solutions to ensure the most effective exploitation of land funds for socio-economic development.
