On July 23, Thanh Oai Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) organized coercion and demolition of 10 illegal construction works on public land and agricultural land in My Duong, My Thuong villages and My Ha residential group, Kim Dong residential group.
The cases of coercion are all illegal constructions on public land, agricultural land, violating the provisions of the Land Law.
Before organizing coercion, the Commune People's Committee and specialized agencies have repeatedly inspected the current status, made records of administrative violations, issued sanctioning decisions, and requested households to stop violating acts and voluntarily dismantle the works, restoring the original state of the land area.
Although they have been propagated, disseminated legal regulations, mobilized, dialogued and created conditions to self-remedy the consequences, the violating households still do not comply.
Up to the time of organizing coercion, the remedial measures according to the penalty decision have not been fully implemented, forcing the Commune People's Committee to apply coercive measures according to the provisions of law.
The coercion process is implemented publicly, transparently, in the correct order and procedures according to the provisions of law; with the supervision of specialized agencies, representatives of villages, residential groups and functional forces, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles and maintaining security and order in the area.
At the scene, the commune police force proactively established checkpoints, traffic diversion, cordoned off the coercive area, ensured security and order and created favorable conditions for the forces to perform their duties. At the same time, functional forces also supported households to move assets and belongings out of the coercive area to minimize property damage.
After the representative of the specialized agency announced the enforcement decisions according to regulations, the electricity unit cut off the power source in the construction area to ensure safety during the construction process. Immediately after that, mechanical vehicles and demolition forces simultaneously deployed to dismantle all illegal construction items.
According to the leader of the Commune People's Committee, land management is a regular, continuous task and of great significance in the local socio-economic development process.
Therefore, for cases of intentional violations, not complying with the handling decisions of competent authorities, the commune will resolutely apply coercive measures in accordance with the law, without forbidden zones, without exceptions.
