According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, after more than 2 years since the groundbreaking date, the parallel road of Ring Road 4 through Hanoi has been revealed, many of which have been paved with asphalt.
Stretching 58km through the capital, the contractor is mobilizing many machines and personnel divided into many construction teams, speeding up the project's progress.
In package No. 8, the construction of a parallel road through Soc Son district is Me Linh (old), the basic site has been handed over by the locality to the contractor.

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam - Head of technical department, Construction Management Board of Ring Road 4 in the Capital Region, Truong Son Construction Corporation - said that up to this point, the contractor consortium has completed about 70% of the construction volume.
Package No. 8 is about 23km long, most of which has been paved with asphalt. For the remaining sections, the contractor is also rushing to deploy.
In addition to the construction of a parallel road, package 8 also requires the construction of 3 overpasses on the route including the Ca Lo River overpass, the Hanoi - Lao Cai railway overpass and the Hau village bridge.
"We have identified this as an important project with strategic regional connectivity, so there is more motivation for construction. Not only completing on schedule, the goal is also to ensure quality and safety" - Mr. Nam emphasized.
According to the plan, package 8 will be completed in September 2025, 3 months earlier than the request of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Except for package 8, many sections of the Ring Road 4 parallel road project under packages 9, 10, and 11 have not been cleared to hand over to the construction contractor.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Commander of Package No. 9, the construction of the Ring Road 4 parallel road through Dan Phuong and Hoai Duc districts (old) said that the Vinaconex package is responsible for the construction of 3 residential areas that have not yet been handed over the site in O Dien, Hoai Duc and An Khanh communes (new administrative unit).
Of which, 14 households in O Dien commune are demolishing the project but the progress is very slow. 91 households in An Khanh commune have had their compensation and resettlement support policies approved. Currently, the new commune government is completing the remaining work to soon hand over the site to the contractor.
According to Mr. Hai, the biggest problem is the intersection of National Highway 32, when there are still many houses and business shelters on both sides of the road that have not been cleared.
"There are 2 booths of 2 enterprises, but one enterprise has handed over the land to the locality. The remaining enterprises have not taken any action" - Mr. Hai said.

In package No. 11 (section through the old Thuong Tin district), Mr. Tran Viet Son - Commander of the package (Cicenco 4 contractor) said that the residential areas within the project have been cleared.
Currently, the power line through the West Canal (near National Highway 1A) has not been dismantled, along with a pumping station that has not been relocated.
Mr. Son said that the contractor hopes that the locality and related units will soon hand over the remaining site so that the unit can construct synchronously throughout the project.
"If the site is handed over soon, we will simultaneously construct and complete the parallel road in 2025 as directed by Hanoi City" - Mr. Son said.
