Hung Yen - Hung Yen speeds up the progress of housing projects, site clearance and resettlement arrangements, and soon puts residential areas into use.

On November 18, Mr. Nguyen Le Huy - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - chaired a meeting to listen to the Department of Construction report on the progress of housing development projects in the old Thai Binh City.

According to the report, at the housing development project in the residential area of Dong Hoa commune (Tra Ly ward), the work of clearing agricultural land has reached 27.8/34.4 ha (80.8%), all 309 households with residential land and interspersed land have been counted.

The Department of Construction is finalizing a land price determination plan to submit for compensation approval. Some current difficulties include lack of resettlement land funds and some households have not received compensation.

For the housing development project in the new urban area in Tan Binh commune and Tien Phong ward (Thai Binh ward), the work of site clearance for agricultural land has reached nearly 99%. All 88 households have price certificates to establish and post compensation plans; the remaining 11 households are being reviewed for their scope of impact.

The project has encountered problems in treating leftover waste at the old waste treatment plant, relocating businesses in Phong Phu industrial cluster and arranging waste transit locations.

In particular, the investor will immediately go where the site is handed over.
