On July 21, the interdisciplinary inspection team of the People's Committee of Vung Tau Ward (HCMC) organized a working session to inspect the area under construction and sea leveling in Ho May tourist area (invested by Vung Tau Cable Tourism Joint Stock Company).
The reason the team conducted the work and inspection was because there was previously information reflecting that this area used household waste, construction waste... to bury during the sea leveling process of the project.
At the scene, there was garbage including water hyacinth, plastic bottles... that had been piled up. According to the person in charge of the construction site, this is ocean waste that reached the construction site when the tide rose, and workers were mobilized to pick it up and bring it to shore, then piled it up to dump it.

In a deep hole, the reporter recorded that many rocks, sand, and debris (westards, bricks, tiles, etc.) had been used for filling. The inspection team recorded and made a record of the work at the scene.

According to the inspection team, based on the content of work at the site, the team will continue to conduct an inspection and comparison with the construction documents, environmental impact assessment report of the project to verify and clarify the contents according to the law.
It is known that the sea encroachment area for the water temple project is part of the overall tourism, culture, entertainment, and resort area of Ho May Park invested by Vung Tau Cable Car Joint Stock Company.
With a total area of about 6.7 hectares, when completed, this area will have an aquatic house hotel, a beach sports area and artificial beaches, a parking lot, trees... with a total investment of 50 million USD.
