THANH TUẤN |

Kon Tum - Eco-agricultural projects will contribute to sustainable tourism economic development, preserving forests, environment and climate in Mang Den.

On April 7, the People's Committee of Kon Tum province issued a decision to reclaim land and lease land to Mang Den Investment Company Limited to implement the Eco-agricultural Area project in Kon Plong district.

Accordingly, Kon Tum province reclaimed 28,536m2 of land from Kon Plong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. and transferred it to Mang Den Investment Company Limited (headquartered in Mang Den town, Kon Plong district) to implement the project.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Kon Tum province is assigned to provide cadastral information of the land to the tax authority to determine financial obligations according to regulations.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Kon Tum province coordinates to organize the handover of land in the field, issue Certificates of land use rights, house ownership rights and assets attached to land to enterprises.

The land lease is carried out in the form of not auctioning land use rights and not bidding to select investors.

In recent years, Kon Tum province has promoted policies for businesses to lease land long-term to develop agriculture combined with tourism in Mang Den National Eco-tourism Area.

Enterprises focus on growing cold-pressed vegetables, specialty coffee, strawberries, cherry tomatoes... in an organic direction to supply supermarkets and clean agricultural product stores.

With the advantage of being near tourist areas, these ecological farms not only develop production but also become an attractive destination for tourists to visit and experience.

Developing Mang Den in the direction of green and ecological agriculture contributes to the implementation of the sustainable and comprehensive development goals of Kon Tum province.

The long-term orientation of Kon Tum province is to build Mang Den into a model of green development, circular economy, digital economy and sharing economy, according to the motto "forest in the city, city in the forest".
