On the morning of June 27, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution on committing to allocate local budget capital to implement investment in the 378 Resort project - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police in Cam Hai Dong commune, Cam Lam district.
The Resolution of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council commits to allocate local budget capital (250 billion VND) to implement the investment of the 378 Resort project - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police in Cam Hai Dong commune as a basis for the Ministry of Public Security to carry out procedures for appraisal of capital sources, capital balance capability and approval of investment policy decisions and project investment decisions.
In April 2025, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police submitted a document to the Ministry of Public Security for appraisal and approval to adjust the investment policy of the 378 Resort project - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police in Cam Hai Dong commune, Cam Lam district.
The project investor is Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, the land area for the project is 9 hectares. The project implementation progress for 2025-2028, the total investment (expected) is 524 billion VND, of which the investment capital is from the state budget provided through the Ministry of Public Security and the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee budget.
Based on the project investment policy proposal dossier provided by the Provincial Police, the project has a construction cost of 301.9 billion VND, equipment cost of 99.7 billion VND, and site clearance cost of 29 billion VND.
Previously, in 2015, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province sent a document to the Ministry of Public Security to allocate additional land to build the 378 Resort project at Cam Ranh Peninsula Tourist Area.
Khanh Hoa province agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Public Security and assigned 2 additional plots of land planned for the construction of Station 380 - Cu Hin Border Control Station and Rescue Station adjacent to the land with an area of 7.6 hectares (agreed with the Ministry of Public Security) to invest in the construction of Resort 378 (the land after the merger has an area of about 9 hectares).
By 2023, the Ministry of Public Security decided to transfer Resort 378 from the Logistics Department to the Logistics Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police.
As for the headquarters of Resort 378 on Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province has a plan to survey and build Alexandre Yersin Museum.
