Accordingly, grassroots trade unions of enterprises and public service units that do not receive 100% of their salaries from the state budget managed by the Nha Trang City Labor Federation will be transferred to the Provincial Labor Federation for receipt and direct management.
308 grassroots unions under this category were transferred to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor. The implementation time is before June 15. Of the 308 grassroots trade unions transferred after the Nha Trang City Labor Federation implemented the arrangement according to administrative units at 2 levels, the majority of which are enterprise trade unions.
There are 8 grassroots unions such as Vinh Tho Ward Fisheries Union, Vinh Phuoc Ward Fisheries Union, Vinh Nguyen Ward Fisheries Union, Vinh Truong Ward Fisheries Union, Xuong Huan Fisheries Union, Phuoc Dong Fisheries Union, Hon Ro Fishing Port Loading Union, Nha Trang Tourism Cyclo Union with nearly 1,500 union members will also be transferred to the Provincial Federation of Labor for direct management.
For workers who are union members working at public service units under labor contracts or work contracts not receiving 100% of their salary from the State budget, they will continue to be union members according to the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Previously, implementing the arrangement of the Trade Union organization according to the Conclusion 157 and instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Nha Trang City Federation of Labor also issued a decision to dissolve the organization, end the operation of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of 163 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of salaries from the State budget.
More than 7,000 union members of these grassroots unions have also quit their jobs and are no longer union members since the grassroots union decided to dissolve.
