In which, for the general urban planning of Trang Bom, Bien Hoa, it will be completed and approved in February 2026; For the general urban planning of Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, it will be completed simultaneously with the provincial planning dossier, approved immediately after the provincial planning dossier is approved.
Previously, on January 6, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut chaired a working session with departments, branches, and localities to listen to reports on the progress of the preparation of overall planning adjustment projects for Bien Hoa and Trang Bom urban areas, Dong Nai province until 2045.
The overall adjustment project of Bien Hoa Urban Planning to 2045, the scope of planning includes 10 wards (including the entire administrative boundaries of 7 wards Bien Hoa, Tam Hiep, Long Binh, Tran Bien, Long Hung, Phuoc Tan, Tam Phuoc and a part of the area of 3 wards Tan Trieu, Trang Dai, Ho Nai) with a total area of more than 26,300 ha.
The objective of planning adjustment is to gradually shift from the "industrial urban" structure model to the "service and industrial urban" structure model, towards smart and sustainable urban development; Orienting the development of river-oriented urban space is an important factor to exploit the advantages and expand the urban development space towards the Dong Nai River, promoting the development of services, tourism and new urban areas. In which, focusing on exploiting riverside advantages through new connections between the Dong Nai and Cai rivers.
The overall adjustment project of Trang Bom urban master plan to 2045 is prepared with a scale of more than 327 km2 including the entire administrative boundaries of Trang Bom, Binh Minh, Bau Ham, Hung Thinh, An Vien communes and part of Ho Nai ward, Dong Nai province.
Trang Bom urban area plays the role of one of the key urban areas of the dynamic region southeast of Dong Nai province and the urban area of Ho Chi Minh City, is a dynamic urban area for socio-economic development; It is a multi-sectoral concentrated industrial center, logistics and logistics center in the East; a regional level entertainment, sports and eco-tourism center associated with the water source protection area of Tri An Lake.
