Located about 1km from Bach Mai Hospital, facility 2 in Ninh Binh, the social housing project for hospital staff is being urgently implemented, expected to be completed in October 2026.
The project has a scale of 2 10-story social housing buildings at land plots CT01 and CT02, with a scale of 216 apartments/buildings, a construction floor area of about 11,500m2/building with a total land use area of about 1.2ha. The total investment of the project is 284.97 billion VND and the project implementation period is from 2025 - 2028.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, contractors are mobilizing manpower, machinery and equipment, speeding up the project progress to promptly meet the housing needs of hospital officials and staff.
The construction unit has completed the construction of walls from the 2nd to the 10th floors for both buildings above. Currently, construction is underway to seal and plaster in the 2nd to 9th floors, construct reinforced molds into fire prevention and fighting tanks and electrical and water items...
Mr. Nguyen Viet Ngoc - Director of the Construction Investment Project Management Board (under the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Construction), the investor of the above project, said that in order to create conditions for accommodation and meals for officials and employees when returning to work at Bach Mai Hospital, facility 2 in Ninh Binh, Ninh Binh province is focusing on accelerating the construction progress of the social housing project for officials, employees, and doctors when returning to work at the hospital.
The project started in August 2025, and has now completed concrete pouring to the roof for 432 apartments. The capital allocated in 2025 is 82 billion VND and has been disbursed 100%. The capital plan for 2026 allocated for the project is 100 billion VND.
According to the approved decision, the completion time is in 2028. However, before the actual requirements, we have signed contracts with construction and installation units to complete it in October 2026. Currently, we are directing contractors to work overtime even at night to shorten the time and complete the project on schedule" - Mr. Ngoc said.
Bach Mai Hospital, facility 2 in Ninh Binh, is expected to officially open and receive patients from June 26, 2026. On the first day of operation, the hospital will organize free health check-ups for policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Regarding human resources, Bach Mai Hospital facility 2 in Ninh Binh is ready with 1,288 officials and employees. The medical team will be rotated between the two facilities to ensure professional quality, and the hospital will continue to train more resident doctors and nurses to meet long-term development needs.
