On August 13, Nam Nha Trang Ward People's Committee is focusing on removing bottlenecks in compensation, support, and resettlement work, in order to accelerate the progress of site clearance for projects in the area.
Agencies and units are reporting on the progress of compensation, support, and resettlement for many projects.
For the Nha Trang City Mixed-Use Urban Area Project, as of August 6, 2026, the ward has inventoried 1,059/1,585 plots; verified the origin of land, appraised and held meetings to consider compensation plans for 196 plots.
The ward has issued decisions to recover land for 174 plots, accounting for more than 62% of the total area to be recovered.
The project to build Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital into a South Central Coast Regional Hospital has inventoried 199/290 plots; verified the origin of 23 plots and issued decisions to recover land for 1 plot.
For the Provincial Police Headquarters Project, 204/206 plots have been inventoried, the origin of land of 121 plots has been verified, and decisions on land recovery have been issued for 15 plots.
The Social Housing project for police officers and soldiers has inventoried 108/115 plots and verified the origin of 7 plots of land.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Fire and Rescue Police Command Center Project has inventoried 120/135 plots, verified the origin of 118 plots of land and issued decisions to recover land for 116 plots.
For the Tac River downstream renovation project - phase II, the ward has inventoried 134/143 plots.
Specifically, the Bac Hon Ong School, Training and Vocational Training Area Project has completed the inventory, verification of land origin, listing compensation and support plans; and at the same time approved plans for 275/325 plots.
Notably, the specialized working group to verify the origin of land of the ward, established on July 24, 2026, initially promoted efficiency, contributing to accelerating the progress of verifying the origin of land, serving site clearance for projects.
However, site clearance work still faces some difficulties and obstacles such as lack of human resources to develop compensation and support plans; coordination between agencies and units is sometimes not synchronized; the organization of people's meetings to inform about the situation and progress of project implementation is not regular.
Some cases of people arbitrarily pouring soil and leveling ponds also cause difficulties in determining compensation conditions. In addition, the land fund and infrastructure in resettlement areas are not complete.
Faced with the above situation, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Chairman of Nam Nha Trang Ward People's Committee - requested departments and agencies of the ward to promote digitization, centrally manage records, ensure that data is fully updated, unified, and convenient for searching, developing plans and monitoring implementation progress.

The specialized working group to verify the origin of land continues to promote its role, mobilizing sufficient professional forces and facilities to process dossiers quickly, accurately and objectively. For contents beyond authority, it is necessary to promptly summarize and report to competent authorities or request specialized agencies for guidance, avoiding prolonged problems.
