The Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park (IP) project in Pho Yen city and Phu Binh district has just been approved by the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province with a total land area of 299.07 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 3,650 billion.
To implement this project, nearly 1,000 households with land, assets, and crops were affected. In which, the types of land to be recovered include residential land, production and business land, rice land, annual crop land, perennial crop land, aquaculture land, other agricultural land, irrigation land and traffic land.
Pho Yen City has planned 3 resettlement areas with a total area of over 146 hectares in Dong Tien (48ha), Tien Phong (48ha) and Hong Tien (50ha) wards, to arrange new housing for people whose residential land is being recovered.
Currently, the People's Committee of Pho Yen City has completed the steps of announcing land acquisition and counting about 40 hectares, aiming to complete compensation and level the ground for about 6 hectares in July 2025 to prepare for the project's groundbreaking in August.
Previously, Yen Binh 1 Industrial Park with a scale of 400 hectares was put into operation and achieved an occupancy rate of over 90%. On April 19, 2025, Thai Nguyen province continued to start construction of Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park in Phu Binh district with an area of 295.34 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 4,139 billion.
