Manchester United are considering recruiting Gianluigi Donnarumma, in the context that Paris St-Germain has agreed to spend £34.9 million to bring in a new goalkeeper.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper is facing an uncertain future after failing to reach a contract extension with the French capital team. The Italian international's current contract with PSG expires next summer, and the reigning Champions League champions do not want to lose him for free.
Therefore, coach Luis Enrique's team is ready to listen to suggestions for Donnarumma, after reaching an agreement with Lille to recruit goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.

PSG's move could prompt the "Red Devils" to take action soon, in the context that coach Ruben Amorim is eager to bring in a new goalkeeper. Man United are said to be interested in Senne Lammens of Royal Antwerp - who is expected to compete for the starting position with Andre Onana.
Although Onana has no intention of leaving Old Trafford, the Cameroonian goalkeeper's form is still a concern for Amorim. The Portuguese tactician even left the 29-year-old goalkeeper out of the squad in the final stages of last season, after a series of regrettable mistakes.
However, instead of signing a rising young goalkeeper like Lammens, Donnarumma with extensive experience could be a more suitable option. The Italian goalkeeper is said to have had private discussions with his teammates in the national team about the possibility of moving to England to play.
According to French media, in the context of PSG preparing to welcome Chevalier, both Man United and their city rival Manchester City have expressed their interest in Donnarumma.
Chelsea are also said to be interested in Donnarumma, while Galatasaray has gone one step further when it officially sent an offer. However, it would be a surprise if Man City took the initiative, as the team has reached a £27 million deal with Burnley to bring James Trafford back to the Etihad.

Donnarumma's future has been a topic of discussion over the past time, especially after the former AC Milan goalkeeper helped PSG win the Champions League last season. Just last month, Donnarumma also affirmed that his top priority is to continue to be associated with the French capital team.
"My priority is to stay at PSG, I don't think there will be any problems in the negotiations. We are a great team," Donnarumma said in early June this year.
Napoli is also believed to be involved with Donnarumma, but his representative denied the rumor.
