Overview
In midweek, Arsenal were expected to face many challenges against Brighton in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup - the team that scored 12 goals in the first two rounds of the tournament.
However, Mikel Arteta's players have kept a clean sheet as usual, despite some promising opportunities from the Seagulls. They also scored two goals thanks to Ethan Nwaneri and Bukayo Saka, thereby winning 2-0.
The Gunners have set a new record for English football, becoming the first team to play 6 matches in a month without conceding a goal. This is clear evidence of their proven defensive power.
This impressive run includes a 1-0 win inspired by Eberechi Eze against Crystal Palace last weekend. In the context of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea all losing points, Arsenal has widened the gap to 4 points in the Premier League.
Arteta's side are now able to win four consecutive league games without conceding for the first time since Arteta played in 2014. And Burnley's loyal fans will not be happy to know that Arsenal have won all 13 of their most recent Premier League games against newly promoted sides.

In fact, the "Gunners" have only lost once in their last 24 Premier League matches against teams that played in the Championship last season. That only loss was against Nottingham Forest at City Ground in May 2023.
Furthermore, Arsenal have not lost away to Burnley since 1973, a year in a row. However, the history of confrontations does not always accurately predict the results in the future.
Scott Parker's Burnley are in good form, having beaten Wolves and Leeds United in their last two Premier League games.
The convincing 3-2 victory over Wolves helped Clarets rise 5 points above the relegation zone, while extending their impressive scoring streak. They have scored in all 6 recent matches in all competitions.
The only team that has stopped Burnley from getting points at Turf Moor this season is defending champions Liverpool. However, Clarets will have to break a 50-year miracle if they want to challenge Arsenal this weekend. They have not won against the top team in the tournament since 1975.
Personnel situation
Arsenal do not have any new injury concerns. However, Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori, William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli are facing unreported problems.
Rice and Calafiori quickly removed the concerns, but Saliba and Martinelli were still big doubters ahead of the upcoming match. Martinelli is said to have muscle problems, so the possibility of Leandro Trossard starting from the start is almost certain.
The four teams Gabriel Jesus, Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz are expected to be absent after the international break, but the three players could return for the North London derby next month.
For Burnley, Lesley Ugochukwu was a mandatory change in the last minute of the 3-2 win over Wolves. However, there are no serious concerns about the midfielder's ability to play at the weekend.
However, Jordan Beyer (hamstring), Zeki Amdouni (knee) and Connor Roberts (knee) still have to continue treatment and cannot return before the end of the calendar year.
Expected lineup:
Burnley: Dubravka, Walker, Tuanzebe, Esteve, Hartman, Florentino, Cullen, Bruun Larsen, Ugochukwu, Anthony, Flemming.
Arsenal: Raya, Timber, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori, Eze, Zubimendi, Rice, Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard.
The match between Burnley and Arsenal takes place at 22:00 on November 1 (Vietnam time).
