Current status of the arenas
Ha Tinh Stadium has been the focus of attention in recent times when the grass surface has deteriorated, many areas of grass have exposed low-lying, low-lying soil. After VPF reminded and gave a 3-day deadline for renovation before the second inspection, the stadium management unit increased care measures, buying specialized grass to graze in the dead grass area.
Despite efforts to " closed" the field, VPF still assessed Ha Tinh Stadium as not meeting the requirements. Therefore, coach Nguyen Thanh Cong's team borrowed Vinh Stadium (Nghe An) to compete in round 15 of V.League against Thanh Hoa, losing the home field advantage.

Similarly, the quality of Quy Nhon Stadium of Binh Dinh club is also poorly assessed, the grass is uneven, the hardness is not guaranteed, many areas are very sparse such as the middle of the field, the goal banks on both sides...
However, after being required to renovate and repair, the Quy Nhon Stadium management board has made efforts to ensure quality, the locations with exposed soil are supplemented with grass, the field surface is flatter.
Unlike Ha Tinh Stadium, Binh Dinh Club's home stadium passed the second inspection by VPF and continued to host the V.League match.
For My Dinh National Stadium, this is the home stadium of The Cong Viettel club this season. Currently, the grass surface of My Dinh Stadium has made progress compared to before, green, moist, flat, evenly cut, no longer withered, green in some places is yellow.
However, there is still an area behind the goal, some areas have lost grass and exposed soil. Regarding infrastructure, the toilet area has not been used for a long time, so it is dirty and odor-prone.

Meanwhile, Hang Day Stadium continues to be the home stadium of the two clubs of Hanoi Police and Hanoi FC.
According to Lao Dong, the grass of this stadium is generally quite green due to regularly being fertilized and watered. In recent days, Hanoi has had rain and humid conditions, but there has been no water shortage on the field.
However, the infrastructure in Hang Day has seriously degraded. Currently, some areas of the piste behind the goal, near the scoreboard, the entrance to the stands... are littered with tarpaulins, high steel frames are showing signs of rust, causing loss of aesthetics.
Some areas of stand B are clearly degraded when the ceilings are soaked with water, many cracks are deeply carved, running from top to bottom of the wall, the seating area has large cracks, causing danger. The toilets at the stadium are also quite smelly and dirty, making fans feel uncomfortable.
A difficult problem for many years
This is not the first time the outdoor issue has been mentioned. Looking back to the past, before the match between Khanh Hoa and Song Lam Nghe An in round 8 of V.League 2023-2024, the image of the organizing committee of the 19.8 stadium spraying green paint on the yellow spots on the field caused offense.
In the same season, the Quang Nam team had to rent Hoa Xuan Stadium (Da Nang) to compete because Tam Ky's home stadium was under repair. Because both Da Nang and Quang Nam teams are competing at the same density, Hoa Xuan Stadium is also in a state of degraded pitch, with thick grass and cones, which can easily cause injuries.

Or in 2016, Hang Day Stadium even had to have a signboard "no-sitting danger zone" when large cracks appeared in stand A.
The reason for poor grass quality comes from objective reasons. Weather is a factor that is often mentioned when rain, wind, and floods affect the grass development process.
Many teams also do not have a practice ground, having to practice right on the field, causing the grass to be constantly pressured...
Meanwhile, Hang Day Stadium once had a project to repair infrastructure, especially the area of 2 stands. However, there has been no change so far as many items have seriously degraded.
Most V.League clubs do not have abundant financial resources for upgrading and maintaining the pitch.
Before each season, VPF always checks facilities, especially the quality of the pitches in the V.League. However, the story of not meeting the standards of the grass and infrastructure is still recurring, affecting the image of the national football championship.
This year, VPF has taken stronger and more determined action against teams whose home stadium does not meet the requirements. This is considered very necessary, helping teams have a more professional awareness in preparing and organizing the season.
