Dong A Thanh Hoa Club continues to send an official dispatch to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to propose and clarify some contents of the response document No. 293/LDBDVN-HDTT dated February 21, 2025, related to the refereeing work in round 13 of V.League 2024-2025.
Thanh Hoa's official dispatch clearly stated: "After reviewing the content of the document, we found that the VFF's response document still lacked some basic, unclear, and unsatisfactory contents".
The Thanh team said that VFF has not clearly stated the form of disciplinary action and the disciplinary period for the referees as well as the individual referee Le Vu Linh.
In addition, Thanh Hoa requested VFF to provide evidence to prove that the referee had acted accurately in the remaining 6 situations that the team mentioned in the complaint; requested referee Le Vu Linh and the referee team in the match between Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa to publicly apologize to the Thanh Hoa team as soon as possible.
Thanh Hoa Club hopes that the Vietnam Football Federation will soon have a written response so that the team can confidently continue competing in the next matches of the 2024-2025 professional football season.
Previously, on February 21, VFF issued an official announcement about the complaint of Thanh Hoa club and admitted errors in the refereeing work.
The VFF announcement stated: "In some situations that the club reflected in the document, the referee team has had accurate management. However, there were still some mistakes, in which the situation in the 65th minute could affect the result of the match.
Based on the received report, VFF has directed the relevant departments to stop performing the duties of the referees and related individuals as well as strictly handle the errors.
VFF also affirmed that it always focuses on refereeing and hopes to receive cooperation from clubs in the development of professional football in Vietnam".
