On the morning of June 4, Bac Ninh club held a ceremony to announce the Chairman of the Board of Directors - General Director and head coach of the club.
After consideration, Bac Ninh club decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company. In addition, Mr. Pham Hung Vuong will hold the position of head coach of the team, replacing his predecessor Hoang Anh Tuan.
Previously, coach Hoang Anh Tuan's contract was terminated after a 0-1 loss to Quang Ninh in round 6 of the Second Division, causing Bac Ninh to fall to 3rd place and lose the right to decide in the race for promotion tickets.
Under the leadership of Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Bac Ninh has had many notable changes, especially in investment and development of facilities as well as attracting quality personnel.
However, the expectation of promotion this season has become a big pressure when the team temporarily dropped to 3rd place in the rankings, with 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.
With the appointment of a new president and coach, Bac Ninh club hopes to create a positive boost, improve performance and continue to compete fairly in the race for promotion to the First Division next season.
