Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club has received more than 10 billion VND in bonuses after reaching the semi-finals of the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League for women.

Last night (March 22), Ho Chi Minh City women's club had a 5-4 victory over UAE representative Abu Dhabi Country in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League for women (commonly known as the Asian Cup C1) 2024-2025.

Notably, coach Nguyen Hong Pham and his team won when they were behind 0-3 after the first half.

Immediately after the victory, the team received 500 million VND in bonuses from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), 200 million VND from the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF), 200 million VND from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, 100 million VND from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports.

In addition, for the ticket to the semi-finals, the team will receive a bonus of 120,000 USD (about 3 billion VND) from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) according to regulations.

Previously, in the group stage in October 2024, the team was awarded a goal of $100,000 (about 2.6 billion VND) by the AFC.

Each group stage win helps the team receive an additional 20,000 USD, and the team has had 2 impressive victories against Taichung Blue Whale (Taiwan (China)) with a score of 3-1 and Odisha (India) with a score of 2-1, bringing in a total of 40,000 USD (about 1 billion VND).

After passing the group stage, the team continued to receive 80,000 USD (about 2 billion VND) from AFC. In addition, VFF has awarded 300 million VND and HFF has awarded 100 million VND.

In total, after 2 bonuses from AFC, the team received 340,000 USD (more than 8.8 billion VND), along with 1.4 billion VND from VFF and HFF.

In the semi-finals, Ho Chi Minh City women's club will face the winning team in the match between Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan) and Wuhan Jiangda (China).
