On the evening of September 7, former U23 Vietnam player Nguyen Trong Dai continued to have noteworthy shares on social networks about his career.
He wrote: "At the age of 21, I returned from Changzhou amidst millions of congratulations. At the age of 29, I was seriously injured, unemployed and only had a few tens of thousands left in my pocket. This was probably the most difficult time of my life.
Trong Dai himself suffered a serious injury and could not find any team after leaving Long An club. The midfielder born in 1997 admitted that he "lost everything" because of many wrong decisions and poor financial management ability. He expressed his desire to find a job on his personal page.
Trong Dai once participated in the 2018 AFC U23 Championship and is in the group of players rarely used by coach Park Hang-seo. However, not every teammate on the bench has experienced the same difficulties as Trong Dai.

In goal, goalkeeper Dang Ngoc Tuan was unlucky and had to retire at the age of 30. He is satisfied with the youth football training work in An Giang. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Van Hoang still had peak years with Song Lam Nghe An and Hanoi FC. He is also famous for his role as a commentator.
In defense, Le Van Dai did not play for a minute, but he still managed to win many glories in the colors of his hometown team Thanh Hoa. After many low notes, Van Dai is looking for challenges with Thai Nguyen in the First Division.
Nguyen Thanh Chung in 2018 is not the main factor, but he has been very successful with the Vietnamese team in recent years.

The midfield witnessed Truong Van Thai Quy and Chau Ngoc Quang on the bench in Changzhou that year. Both of these players showed persistent effort.
Thai Quy has many titles with Hanoi FC, while Ngoc Quang once won the ASEAN Cup 2024 with the Vietnamese national team.
