Improving skills - an inevitable factor for business development
Every 3 months, the company's trade union organizes training courses to improve skills for employees and at the same time solve problems arising during work. These training courses not only create opportunities for workers, especially the younger generation of workers, but also help businesses develop more and more.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa My - a long-time worker at Stanley Vietnam Electricity Company Limited - said: " Participating in training courses to improve skills is very necessary. After each course, our professional qualifications have improved significantly, the working process becomes easier, less mistakes are made, so work efficiency has improved a lot".
Training courses help workers identify problems and find solutions to control and reduce errors in the production process, thereby improving work efficiency.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Dung, who regularly teaches skills training classes for workers in the company, said: "Customer's requirements are getting higher and the standards are getting higher and higher. Therefore, equipping workers with skills is extremely necessary. After courses, workers better understand customer requirements and can meet those standards.
The company also organizes Japanese language and office IT classes to improve the capacity of all employees, including managers and production workers.
Caring for the spiritual and material life of workers
In addition to improving the skills of employees, the company also pays great attention to activities to care for their material and spiritual lives.
Currently, Stanley Vietnam Electricity Company Limited has implemented many projects to serve the lives of workers, including union bookstores, union supermarkets, yoga rooms, zumbas, bida rooms, volleyball courts, soccer courts and many other utilities.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hoa - a young worker at the company - shared: "The Trade Union Bookstore has many rich books, helping us relax after stressful working hours. The company's library space helps me regain my spirit and continue working with positive energy".
As for worker Nguyen Thi Nga, since having a union supermarket with more than 1,400 consumer goods, she has saved many living expenses because the prices in the supermarket are much cheaper than those in outside stores. She is also very assured about the quality of the products because the items are always carefully checked for their origin.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Son - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Stanley Vietnam Electricity Company Limited, the purpose of taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers is to create the best working environment, helping workers have a relaxed spirit and enthusiasm to develop their work.
Mr. Son also said that the company's union regularly implements welfare regimes for employees such as visits, support when sick, Labor Day, weddings, birthdays and summer travel support. The company also ensures a full salary and bonus regime during holidays and Tet.
In the past 5 years, the company's trade union has coordinated with the Trade Union Capital Support Fund of the Hanoi Labor Federation to support workers in borrowing capital to develop their family economy or repair their houses.
