Mr. Le Hai An - Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union attended and gave a speech at the 7th Congress, term 2025 - 2030 of the Trade Union of Industrial Machinery and Equipment Corporation - corporation (MIE)
Information at the Congress said that in the 2023-2025 period, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union and the close coordination with the profession, the MIE Trade Union has achieved the results set out in the Resolution of the 6th Congress. The activities of the Corporation's Trade Union have had many innovations in content and methods, contributing to the successful implementation of the Corporation's production and business tasks and political tasks.
Trade unions at all levels in the Corporation have participated in managing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees; contributing opinions to the regulations and rules of the unit, organizing well the Conference of employees and signing Collective Labor Agreements; directing and implementing emulation movements; studying and practicing movements to improve professional qualifications; work on labor protection, occupational safety and hygiene; caring for the material and spiritual life of union members...
Every year, the Trade Union and the Corporation sign a Joint Directive on launching and organizing emulation movements to celebrate major holidays of the country and the unit's traditional day. Typical examples are the Good Labor, Creative Labor movement; the Initiative, Savings movement; the Emulation movement to clean, beautify the environment, ensure labor safety; the movement of Good at public work, good at housework...
Most units in the Corporation ensure jobs for employees; employees' annual income increases by 3-5%. The regimes for employees are implemented in accordance with regulations.
One of the goals for the 2025 - 2030 period of the MIE Trade Union is to strive for 100% of units in the Corporation to organize negotiations and sign Collective Labor Agreements according to the provisions of law; At least 90% or more of the grassroots trade unions participate with employers in promulgating and implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations... Congress elects a new Executive Committee of 11 members.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le An Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union highly appreciated and praised and acknowledged the achievements of the MIE Trade Union in the 2023 - 2025 period, and pointed out the shortcomings that need to be overcome in activities. The Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union affirmed: The Vietnam Trade Union always accompanies the Corporation's Trade Union in all activities.
