Petrovietnam Trade Union has directed trade unions at all levels to implement the goals of the program "Promoting lifelong learning" with practical, approachable, innovative, and creative activities, recording many positive results to implement Decision No. 1268/QD-TTg dated October 19, 2022 of the Prime Minister on implementing the Program "Promoting lifelong learning activities among workers in enterprises by 2030" as well as continuing to promote a culture of extensive learning throughout the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group.
With breakthrough strategic goals, the Group always creates the best conditions to encourage employees to participate in learning through many forms. Thereby, arousing and promoting the tradition of studiousness among workers to form good habits, self-reliance, self-responsibility in studying and lifelong learning to improve professional qualifications, skills, and professional skills; enhancing the application of communication technology, digital technology, digital transformation to meet the important requirements of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and international integration.
To promote lifelong learning activities among workers, in addition to organizing and encouraging union members and workers, Petrovietnam Trade Union issued guidelines and requirements for affiliated trade unions to develop plans, synthesize reports on implementation results to serve the assessment and replication of the model, and at the same time issued guiding documents and instructions to propagate and disseminate the program "Promoting lifelong learning" on the communication channels of the Group, Petrovietnam Trade Union and communication channels of affiliated trade unions.
Thanks to that, in the period of 2022 - 2025, Petrovietnam Trade Union and trade unions at all levels have completed the targets of studying to improve qualifications and professional skills; thoroughly grasped the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies.
In particular, in terms of training to improve expertise and skills, 70% of workers in the entire Group are trained to improve their qualifications and professional skills; 100% of newly elected grassroots union chairmen are trained and fostered in appropriate forms.
Regarding the application of information technology, digital technology reached 100% of union members and workers participating and receiving information about the Program "Promoting lifelong learning activities among workers in enterprises by 2030", on propaganda channels such as website, Zalo, Youtube, Fanpage...
