Survey of labor relations in the Vietnam Textile and Garment industry

The survey team of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor conducted a survey on the situation of labor relations at the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union.

Implementing Plan No. 01/KH-TLD of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on surveying the situation of labor relations, workers and trade unions to serve the development of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's survey delegation led by Mr. Tong Van Bang - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - had a working session with the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union.

Working with the delegation were Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union; Standing Committee, Standing Committee, Head, Deputy Head, and specialist of the departments of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union.

Also working were the Chairmen of the Trade Union of Garment Corporation 10 - JSC, Duc Giang Corporation - JSC, and Dap Cau Garment Corporation.

At the meeting, union officials discussed the achieved results and presented difficulties and problems in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers in the textile and garment industry.

This is also an opportunity to record proposals and recommendations so that the General Confederation has a basis to advise and perfect policies and solutions in the coming time.
