Signing a collective labor agreement with 40 provisions beneficial to employees

Vietnam Electricity Group and Vietnam Electricity Trade Union recently organized a dialogue at the workplace in 2024 and signed a collective labor agreement in 2024.

General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) Nguyen Anh Tuan and Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Do Duc Hung co-chaired the dialogue conference.

At the dialogue conference, Mr. Tran Viet Anh, Head of EVN's Organization and Personnel Department, approved a summary of the contents of the draft amendments and supplements to the electricity production labor norms and the salary scale system, salary table and salary allowance regime in Vietnam National Electricity Group.

Mr. Uong Quang Huy, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, approved 9 synthesized opinions of members of the Dialogue Group on the draft contents of the Group on salary scales and tables; 7 opinions on labor norms in EVN to conduct the dialogue.

Speaking at the conference, delegates frankly discussed each content raised by the Dialogue Group, based on reality, specific work, dispersed management terrain, forests, mountains, islands, infrastructure in Vietnam... Vietnam's power grid system, as well as legal regulations so that the two sides could agree on the contents of salary scales and tables; labor norms applied in EVN...

Also at the Conference, the two sides met to evaluate the implementation of the provisions of the 2021 collective labor agreement and reported on the negotiation process to build and supplement the 2024 collective labor agreement of the parent agency of the Group to be applied in the 3-year period 2024-2027.

At this dialogue conference, representatives of EVN Group and Vietnam Electricity Trade Union agreed to sign the 2024 collective labor agreement with 7 Chapters and 23 Articles including key contents such as job security; working hours, rest hours; wages, bonuses and salary increases; occupational safety and hygiene...

The 2024 collective labor agreement has 40 provisions that are beneficial to employees, an increase of 3 provisions compared to the 2021 collective labor agreement (37 provisions are more beneficial to employees).
