On June 21, the People's Public Security Trade Union said that in response to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 2025, trade unions at all levels will continue to pay attention to promoting the dissemination of regulations on USH at the workplace. Expand the theme of the Month of Action on occupational safety and health "Strengthening assessment and identification of risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace" to implement the Government's policy on ensuring safety, health and lives for workers, building a safe and harmonious working environment.
The People's Public Security Trade Union directs the public security trade unions of units and localities to guide grassroots trade unions in the enterprise sector to build and perfect the team of cadres in charge of occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) and the occupational safety and hygiene network (OSH). Coordinate and supervise employers in implementing solutions and measures to ensure occupational safety and health in agencies, units and enterprises; pay attention to improving operational skills for grassroots union cadres, guiding the activities of the occupational safety and health network, self-organizing, inspecting and supervising the implementation of occupational safety and health work of units and enterprises.
As a result, there were 252 meetings to coordinate and supervise the implementation of labor laws, the implementation of occupational safety and health measures; coordinate the organization of 50 training, coaching and drills on occupational safety and health for more than 6,000 union officials and workers on occupational safety and health.
Through inspection, supervision and training, guidance, training and coaching, it has proposed and recommended that unit leaders and employers comply with labor laws. In addition, the work of health care for workers has also been of interest to units and enterprises, organizing annual health check-ups, while also implementing well the provision of personal protective equipment for workers and in-kind care teams for workers doing heavy, toxic, and dangerous work.
