Aiming at the goal of "All union members and workers in the health sector have Tet and enjoy Binh Ngo 2026 Lunar New Year, based on Plan No. 34/KH-TLD dated October 15, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Health Trade Union issued Plan No. 72/KH-CDYT to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 with the theme "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and the motto "All union members and workers have Tet and enjoy Tet". The plan aims to bring union officials, union members, and workers in the entire health sector a warm, safe, joyful and meaningful Tet.
The Vietnam Health Trade Union identifies caring for union members and workers during Tet as not only an annual activity but also an opportunity to deeply demonstrate the role, responsibility and affection of the Trade Union organization. Each gift, each program organized carries a message of sharing, spreading love and adding motivation for health workers to continue to contribute to the cause of people's health care.
According to the plan, trade unions at all levels in the industry will organize many practical and creative care activities, targeting union members and workers at the grassroots level. Notable among them are the programs: the program "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" organized online (online Tet market) and organized directly at units with a large number of union members and workers, with "0 VND" booths, discount booths, giving gifts, free health check-ups, legal advice, creating conditions for workers to shop for Tet goods at preferential prices; the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" organized at agencies, units, hospitals, industrial parks, to create an atmosphere of solidarity, solidarity, and spread the spirit of mutual love in the community of workers in the health sector; the program "Ship Gath - Xuan Xuan 2026 Trade Union Train" program: Support union members and workers from far away to return home with their families during Tet.
A new point of the 2026 plan is the "Union Year's Meal" Program. This is a very meaningful activity to connect workers, employers and trade unions, look back at a year of dedication and sharing of joys and difficulties, arousing the spirit of solidarity and attachment; the "Tet not far from home" program for cadres, union members and workers staying on duty during Tet, especially the medical staff on duty to care for and provide emergency care for patients during Tet, expressing gratitude and timely encouragement.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Health Trade Union requires trade unions at all levels to implement Tet care activities to ensure practicality, economy, compliance with regulations, absolutely avoiding formality and ostentation and ensuring fairness, publicity and transparency. According to the plan, the maximum care level is 1,000,000 VND/person, in special cases it can be up to 2,000,000 VND/person/time, giving 1,040 vouchers to union members and workers in difficult circumstances... At the same time, the Vietnam Health Trade Union also encourages units to proactively mobilize resources from businesses, local authorities, social organizations, the Trade Union Social Fund and other socialized sources to expand the scope of care. The goal is that all union members and workers - regardless of their position - feel the attention of the Trade Union organization and have a warm and complete Spring.
In addition to caring for material and spiritual life, the Vietnam Health Trade Union requires grassroots trade unions to increase dialogue and negotiation with employers on salary payment plans, Tet bonuses, welfare regimes, working conditions and Tet holiday, ensuring legitimate rights of union members and workers. Trade unions at all levels will also grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers before, during and after Tet; promptly detect and prevent disputes and collective work stoppages, contribute to stabilizing labor relations, ensuring security and order in agencies, units and enterprises.
