Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duan - Chairman of Hue University Trade Union (Vietnam Education Trade Union) - said that in response to gratitude and repayment activities, on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8, Hue University Trade Union organized activities to visit and give gifts to teachers and students on Con Co Island and offer incense at Quang Tri ancient citadel.
The working group included leaders of Hue University, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union, the Women's Committee, and chairmen of affiliated grassroots trade unions of women.
Previously, on the morning of March 4, a working group from Hue University arrived at Con Co Island. After offering incense at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs of Con Co Island District, the delegation visited and presented 10 million VND and gifts, encouraging teachers and students at Hoa Phong Ba Kindergarten.
The teachers and students of the school were very happy and touched by the attention, encouragement and sharing of the Hue University working group.
