Attending and directing the Congress was Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa, Vice President, Head of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor's Trade Union Work Committee.
Also attending were Mr. Le Chung Van, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor; representatives of the Party Committee of Hac Thanh Ward; socio-political organizations, departments, and professional departments of the ward; leaders of enterprises with trade unions and 180 outstanding delegates, representing more than 10,000 union members in the area.
According to the Hac Thanh Ward Trade Union, the unit was established under Decision No. 680/QD-LDLD dated July 1, 2025 of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, with 163 grassroots trade unions and more than 12,600 union members.
During its activities, the Ward Trade Union has always received direct leadership and direction from the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee; timely guidance and direction from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor; coordination and facilitation from the government and departments, branches and unions. The team of union officials is increasingly mature, responsible, and dedicated to the workers' movement and union activities.
Since its establishment, trade unions at all levels in the ward have proactively coordinated with professional staff at the same level and business leaders to effectively implement the Law on Grassroots Democracy; build salary scales, tables and sign collective labor agreements. The work of negotiating, signing and supervising the implementation of the agreement has had positive changes.
The work of ensuring occupational safety and hygiene and fire prevention has received attention from grassroots trade unions and employers, regularly organizing propaganda and training on knowledge to prevent occupational accidents.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice President of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the Hac Thanh Ward Trade Union since its establishment.
Along with that, Ms. Hoa suggested that the Ward Union continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization work for union members and workers; focus on performing well the task of representing, protecting and caring for the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members; promote emulation movements, contribute to improving the quality of life of workers, and build a strong union organization.
At the Congress, the Presidium announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the Hac Thanh Ward Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term. Accordingly, the Executive Committee consists of 15 members and the Inspection Committee has 3 members. Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Hac Thanh Ward, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Hac Thanh Ward Trade Union.
