Ms. Le Hoai Thu - a 4th year student majoring in Management, Faculty of Economics and Human Resources Management (National Economics University) - arrived at the job fair on March 23 early in the morning.
"I attended the session to learn about recruitment needs, refer to postgraduate positions and find internship opportunities at businesses in today's session. My job is to have a position in the field of human resources, especially in the field of recruitment, training and talent development. However, because I do not have much experience, I plan to apply for an internship at a company to learn and accumulate more" - Ms. Hoai Thu said.
Similarly, Ms. Truong Thuy Hanh - a 4th year student at the International Institute of Commerce and Economics (National Economics University) - shared: "I attended today's job fair to meet employers to learn about the training and development program for new employees and find an official job after graduation. I want to work in the fields of import-export and logistics. Based on my experience working at a previous company, I expect a salary of 12-15 million VND/month.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hieu - a final year student majoring in Banking and Finance (National Economics University) - participated in the job fair early: "I plan to work at a bank in Hanoi, hoping for a salary of 10 million VND/month. This morning, I had discussions with many employers and received direct advice from staff at some banks. The information exchanged helps me have a clearer orientation for my work after graduation".
Diversifying occupations and fields
According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, at the job fair organized by the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs in coordination with the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District on March 23, there were the participation of more than 50 enterprises, corresponding to 1,585 recruitment targets in many industries and fields.
In particular, employers also recruit a variety of human resources in many groups of qualifications, from unskilled workers, technical workers, intermediate workers to college and university students; income from 5 - 15 million VND/month.
The trading session also creates opportunities for students to experience practical activities; access and learn about the labor market, thereby learning, cultivating, and equipping themselves with basic knowledge and skills, the ability to adapt to changes in the labor market after graduation...
Speaking at the job fair on March 23, Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs - said that in 2025, the city aims to create jobs for 169,000 workers, reducing the urban unemployment rate to below 3%. In the first 2 months of 2025, the whole city has created jobs for 33,078 workers, reaching 19.57% of the plan.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam, in 2024, Hai Ba Trung district created jobs for 9,390 people, reaching 114.5% of the annual plan, contributing to the city's solution to create jobs for 225,858 workers, exceeding the plan by 36.9%. In 2025, the district aims to solve 8,200 problems for workers, accounting for 4.8% of the city's plan.
In addition, at the Hanoi Employment Service Center, there are job fairs every day; each year the Center organizes 250 - 260 sessions. Of which, the sessions all conducted online interviews to 14 locations in the city, some sessions also connected and conducted online interviews to a number of provinces and cities in the Red River Delta, said Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hai Ba Trung District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Hien said that in 2025, the district aims to create jobs for 8,200 workers, accounting for 4.8% of the city's planned target.
Mr. Le Hoang Tung - representative of Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) - said that the bank recruits many positions in the banking and finance group such as developing individual customers, developing corporate customers, traders, etc.
"The target is to recruit 30 best students, the salary for new graduates is from 8 - 12 million VND/month. With the talented administrators program, the bank will propose a salary of double or even three times the normal salary, a minimum of 18 million VND/month depending on capacity" - Mr. Tung informed.
On March 23 alone, MSB recruited 50-100 candidates for the transaction offices, the salary depending on the candidate's ability, at least 18 million VND/month. MSB especially prioritizes candidates in the economic and information technology sectors with digital capacity because the bank really needs digital transformation capacity.
