According to the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, as of November 15, 2025, the city has created jobs for 207,493 workers, reaching 122.77% of the annual plan.
In particular, efforts to retrain disadvantaged and redundant workers after the restructuring have achieved positive results, contributing significantly to the overall results.
As of mid-November, more than 24,000 people in Hanoi have been consulted on unemployment insurance policies, over 11,000 people have been introduced to jobs through the job introduction channel of the employment service center system.
In addition, the City has supported vocational training for 1,812 people in the labor group whose land was recovered, disadvantaged workers, and redundant workers due to administrative unit arrangement. 6,912 people have access to training courses and skills improvement to suit new market requirements.
The job exchange system operated effectively with 936 trading sessions in just the first 10 months of the year. The trading sessions attracted 33,082 enterprises to participate in recruitment with 449,000 recruitment targets. The job fair system successfully connects more than 55,700 workers to new jobs.
