Continue to promote the labor market
Speaking at the program, Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam said that the 2025 Ba Vi District Job Fair and Consulting Session was held in response to the Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month and Workers' Month 2025. This is an event to help workers both access job information and raise awareness and comply with laws on occupational safety and hygiene.
Also according to Mr. Nam, in order to complete the growth task in 2025, reach 8% or more, develop the labor market, one of the important solutions is to improve the performance of the job floor system. The results showed that, in the first 4 months of 2025, the whole city created jobs for more than 88,000 workers, reaching 52.1% of the 2025 plan.
According to Vice Chairman of Ba Vi District People's Committee Nguyen Duc Anh, in 2024, the whole district will create jobs for 10,198 people, the rate of trained workers will reach 86.69%, the rate of people with a degree from elementary vocational training or higher will reach 57.89%.
The job fair on May 17 had the participation of 31 units and enterprises, the total demand for labor recruitment and employment was 1,983 targets. The company recruits many positions and occupations such as production workers, consultants, sales - disbursement... with attractive salaries.
Of which, the demand for unskilled labor recruitment accounts for the highest rate with 768 targets (46.18%); the demand for recruiting workers with intermediate qualifications - technical workers has 601 targets (36.14%); the demand for recruiting workers with college and university degrees or higher has 294 targets (17.68%).
There are 830 targets for income of 15 million VND/month or more, accounting for 49.91% of the total recruitment targets. This is the main income level for study abroad and labor export targets.
Employment opportunities at the session mainly focused on the 18-25 age group with 831 targets, accounting for 49.97%; the 26-34 age group with 538 targets, accounting for 32.35%; the rest were the demand for labor recruitment in the 35 and above age group with 294 targets.
Diverse jobs, attractive salaries
As an 11th grade student, Nguyen Thi Thu (Tran Phu High School, Ba Vi, Hanoi) proactively attended the job fair to learn and listen to advice from employers.

In the future, I plan to take a university exam in business administration or marketing. Attending the session as well as listening to advice from businesses helps me find marketing job positions quite interesting, I myself have more orientation for my major as well as my future job, Thu shared.
Coming to the job fair early, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham (43 years old, Ba Vi, Hanoi) hopes to find a new job that is suitable for her health.
I was a farmer before, then a paint worker, but working for a long time affected my health, so I am looking for a job that does not require a degree, more suitable than my old job. I find jobs like cleaning, cleaning... suitable for me, I also prioritize places near my home for convenient travel, said Ms. Tham.

Participating in recruiting personnel at the trading session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Head of Human Resources Administration Department - Viet Han High-Tech Production Joint Stock Company said that she focuses on introducing jobs to students, in addition to finding new workers for the company.
"We have a recruitment plan for positions such as workers, deputy marketing department, tax accountant... each position has its own requirements and salary. For example, workers currently need to recruit 15 people, male, with intermediate and college qualifications, with a basic salary of 6.2 - 6.8 million VND/month. For positions such as deputy marketing and accounting department, candidates must have a university degree or higher and have at least 2 years of experience, said Ms. Ha.
