Strengthening the connection between schools and businesses
On the morning of May 11, the Hanoi Employment Service Center coordinated with the Department of Internal Affairs of Nam Tu Liem District to organize the Festival to link vocational education in the capital with the labor market in 2025.
Speaking at the program, the Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that in the context of the 4th industrial revolution and the trend of geared transformation is strong, vocational education plays an important role in training highly skilled human resources, meeting the increasingly development needs of the labor market.

One of the top important tasks is to improve the quality of human resources in the process of building and defending the Fatherland. In Hanoi, linking vocational education with the labor market is not only an urgent requirement but also a long-term strategy to improve the rate of trained workers, labor productivity, PCI competitiveness index...", Mr. Cuong emphasized.
According to Mr. Cuong, by the end of 2024, vocational training institutions in the capital had connected and cooperated with nearly 1,000 enterprises in recruiting, placing training orders, supporting equipment, raw materials, funding for training institutions, supporting the development of curriculum at training levels. Thanks to that, the rate of students with jobs after graduation always reaches 70-80%.
Diversifying recruitment industry groups
The job fair of Nam Tu Liem district on May 11 had the participation of 50 enterprises participating in recruiting workers with about 3,000 job positions. In addition to connecting businesses - workers, the Organizing Committee prioritizes recruitment and connection with students, vocational training institutions, secondary schools, and colleges in the city. In particular, career counseling activities attracted about 2,000 students, students, and workers to participate.
Present at the trading session, Director of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company Bui Lan Huong pledged to support vocational training institutions in human resource training.
Ms. Huong said: "We will provide experts, documents, training equipment and internship opportunities for students to access the real environment; closely coordinate in developing training programs in line with industry development trends".
Attending and experiencing activities at the program early, Chu Thi Minh Chau (18 years old, from Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi) said that in addition to learning about job information at the session, she also consulted information about schools that have training in tourism and travel service management.
I am a person who loves to travel and explore many regions across the country with the desire to meet and interact with more people. After a round of consultation and visiting booths of schools with training in tourism and travel, I have determined the school I want to study at, Chau shared.

Accompanying students to attend the job fair and career counseling session, teacher Ly Thi Ngoc Hue - teacher at Ha Hoi Secondary School (Thuong Tin District, Hanoi) said that this is an opportunity for senior students to experience and approach professions such as fashion design, graphic design, cooking, makeup, etc.
At the session, 56 units (31 colleges; 21 secondary schools; 4 enterprises, vocational education centers) participated in admission consulting with 101,025 quotas for more than 330 majors and occupations at all levels of training (123 majors and occupations with college level with 26,559 quotas; 148 majors and occupations with intermediate level with 34,381 quotas and 225 primary level occupations with 40,085 quotas).
