For the 2023-2025 term, the Inspection Committees of Trade Unions of units under Hanoi National University (VNU) have performed well their tasks by developing regulations, programs, and action plans and organizing them seriously and effectively; proactively advising the Executive Committees of Trade Unions at the same level and organizing the implementation of inspection and supervision work of the trade union; promptly consolidating the organization, improving and supplementing the personnel of the Inspection Committee; actively organizing and participating in professional training, improving the quality of inspection and supervision work of the trade union.
Thanks to that, the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam National University Trade Union has basically completed the set goals and tasks. During the implementation of the task, the Trade Union Inspection Committee closely followed the work program, identified key tasks in each period to focus on solving. In particular, focus on performing well the main tasks: Inspection and supervision of compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; inspection of management and use of trade union finance and assets; settlement and participation in handling complaints and denunciations.
The Inspection Committee of the National Assembly Trade Union has conducted 16 charter and financial inspections (level 2, level 14); grassroots trade unions inspected 153 charter inspections (level 57, level 96); finance 71 (level 36, level 35). After the inspection, the inspection team assessed the advantages and disadvantages and proposed recommendations for the inspected unit to take remedial measures; notified the inspection results to the executive committee and the union Standing Committee.
For the 2023-2025 term, the Vietnam National Assembly Trade Union successfully held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution 06b/NQ-TLD and 5 years of implementing Conclusion 01/KL-BCH on improving the quality of trade union inspection committee activities; directing units to report the results of inspection and supervision in the first 6 months of 2025; report to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the results of inspection and supervision in the first 6 months of 2025; regularly grasp the reflections and recommendations of workers to promptly reflect to the unit's leaders and respond to union members and workers.
Regarding supervision work, from September 2023 to present, the Inspection Committees of trade unions at all levels of the Vietnam National University Trade Union have advised the Standing Committees and Executive Committees at all levels to supervise through the form of regular supervision, combined with inspection and supervision. The Inspection Committee of the Vietnam National University Trade Union regularly monitors the activities of the Vietnam National University Trade Union through meetings of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the trade union; and exchanges directly with the leaders of the Vietnam National University Trade Union. The Inspection Committee of the Vietnam National University Trade Union supervises the grassroots trade union through grasping the actual situation and reports of the grassroots trade union, contacting with cadres, union members...
In addition, the VNU-Ghen Trade Union also focuses on training and guiding the inspection work of union Inspection Committee members at the same level and below; promptly updating and providing current regulations related to inspection and supervision work to officials doing inspection work; regularly exchanging and guiding the work of inspection and supervision with comrades doing union inspection work at all levels; actively participating in the Conference on professional training on inspection and supervision work for officials doing Inspection and Supervision work organized by the Vietnam Education Trade Union.
The inspections and supervision of the Vietnam National University Trade Union on the implementation of tasks of trade union organizations have ensured compliance with regulations, contributing to strengthening discipline and responsibility, the movement to practice thrift, fight waste and build a professional and friendly working environment.
