Although they do not account for a large proportion, women are present in most areas: From engineering, electromechanical, operations, screening, to administration, accounting, healthcare, vocational education and auxiliary services. In any position, female employees in the Coal - Mineral industry promote the spirit of diligence, creativity, discipline and responsibility, striving to overcome difficulties to successfully complete assigned tasks.
The qualifications and capacity of the female employees are increasingly improved. Many women have university and master's degrees, holding key positions in management work; many have become active core members in the unit's emulation movements. The team of cadres working in women's work at all levels is increasingly mature, dedicated, and responsible, and is the core force in advising and effectively implementing movements of female employees.
In recent years, TKV Trade Union has regularly paid attention to consolidating and perfecting the women's union at all levels. Up to now, the whole industry has 65 grassroots Women's Union Committees, with 725 women's groups operating in a disciplined and effective manner.
In the past 5 years, 1,111 female employees have been admitted to the Party, 346 women have been appointed and promoted to leadership and management positions; 14,000 women have been promoted and their salaries have been increased. TKV Trade Union has opened many professional training courses, training on women's work, equipping skills in mobilization, movement organization, communication skills, consulting skills and coordination with expertise, helping the team of female workers to be more confident and more courageous at work.
The movement "Good at public work - Good at home work" goes into depth, bringing practical results. Every year, nearly 100% of female employees in the whole Group register and over 90% of women achieve the title of "Good at public work, good at housework". Affirming that the movement has gone into depth and become a driving force for female employees. Through the movement, many women have matured, maintained the responsibility of leading, managing, promoting their roles, and effectively implementing gender equality. In all areas of work, female cadres are always dynamic and creative; union cadres, dedicated and responsible female workers; female union members and workers enthusiastically compete and achieve high productivity
Over the past 5 years, female employees in the whole industry have had 2,900 initiatives, technical improvements and 660 works and products taken up by women, bringing practical economic and technical values, contributing to improving productivity, quality and labor efficiency.
Along with that, the "Derousing at Home" movement was widely deployed.Most female employees actively build happy, cultural families, raise healthy children, teach good children, and maintain a civilized lifestyle.In 5 years, TKV Trade Union has honored 5,317 children of employees who have won the Third Prize at the provincial level or higher and 339 mining families and families of studious children.
The whole Group has more than 1,000 outstanding female employees who have been commended and rewarded; 263 collectives and individuals have been awarded certificates of merit by the TKV Trade Union; 5 women have been awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 8 women have received the Commemorative Medal "For the Development of Vietnamese Women"; 88 women were honored in the " Glory of Miners" program.
