On the morning of May 20, in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Provincial Federation of Labor to organize a meeting and dialogue conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and union members and workers in 2025.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan and leaders of departments, branches and the Provincial Federation of Labor chaired the meeting. 250 union members and employees representing more than 110,000 workers in the province participated in the dialogue.
This is an annual activity, held on the occasion of Workers' Month for union members and employees to directly express their thoughts, aspirations, reflect and recommend issues directly related to life, employment, income... to the provincial leaders.
And it is an opportunity for the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches, sectors, and local authorities to receive and directly answer questions related to policies and regimes that workers are interested in.
According to Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, through the synthesis, there are 28 opinions, recommendations and proposals from union members and workers about the difficulties and problems that union members and workers are facing.
Focus on 5 issues including: Group of opinions related to social housing, housing for workers and low-income people (9 opinions); group of opinions related to salaries, allowances, policies for preschool teachers, primary school teachers, school staff (9 opinions); group of opinions related to Regime and policies for health workers (3 opinions).
The group of opinions related to social insurance policies and the group of opinions related to the regime and policies to support part-time workers at the commune level in implementing the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units have also been raised by many union members and employees to local leaders.
