According to the Vietnam Education Union (CĐGD), in the last months of the year, the world and domestic situation is forecast to have many complex developments affecting all aspects of socio-economic life and the activities of the education sector.
In that context, the Education Union continues to promote the spirit of proactiveness, innovation, and creativity, focusing on synchronously implementing tasks and solutions to effectively perform the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members, officials, teachers, and workers (CBNGNLĐ), contributing to completing the goals and tasks of trade union work in 2026.
To effectively implement the set goals, the TU focuses on implementing specific tasks.
Actively research and contribute to draft laws, decrees, and circulars that are being developed and prepared for promulgation with contents that directly impact the lives and jobs of union members, officials, employees, and laborers, and educational institutions.
Continue to review and concretize solutions in promoting union member development and establishing grassroots trade unions, ensuring the completion of targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2026.
Promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, officials, civil servants, public employees and laborers; coordinate to well perform the function of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of officials, civil servants, public employees and laborers. Advise Party committees, coordinate with professional departments to pay attention to stabilizing jobs and ensuring income for workers; pay attention to and promptly care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, unfortunately suffering from serious illnesses, affected by natural disasters and epidemics... Develop plans and prepare resources to care for union members and officials, civil servants, public employees and laborers on the occasion of the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027.
Organize and effectively implement emulation movements "Good labor, high productivity, good income"; continue to implement emulation movements and campaigns of the Sector such as: "Good teaching - Good learning", "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning", "Scientific research and technology transfer"... associated with the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. Pay attention to discovering and propagating and replicating typical advanced examples, good people, good deeds, bright examples of teachers, typical trade union officials in the Education sector to commend and reward promptly.
Organize well the work of collecting trade union financial revenue according to plan. Manage strictly, spend economically, and serve the activities of the trade union organization well. Direct the arrangement and improvement of the operational efficiency of non-business units and enterprises directly under the TU. Manage trade union finance and assets and manage union members; build a system of reporting and statistical forms; ensure accurate and timely two-way information between upper-level and lower-level trade unions.
Promote the application of information technology in trade union activities, especially in direction and administration. Actively innovate the content and methods of operation to meet the requirements in the new situation, especially in the new context of the country and the Industry today.
Continue to consolidate and maintain activities as an active member of the ASEAN+1 Educational Council, and at the same time promote and expand foreign relations with educational trade union organizations around the world.
