In the first 7 months of 2025, the whole city created jobs for 144,736 workers, reaching 85.6% of the annual plan.
In July 2025, the whole city of Hanoi created jobs for 19,652 workers. Of which, 2,006 workers have found jobs from the city budget entrusted through the Social Policy Bank with an amount of 164 billion VND; 1,117 workers have received jobs through job fairs, exchanges and job referral activities at the Hanoi Employment Service Center.
258 workers have found jobs through labor export; 16,271 workers have found jobs through other forms.
Also in July 2025, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 22 job fairs with 623 units, enterprises and 4,930 employees registered to participate. Thereby, 3,180 workers registered to find jobs, were interviewed, and 924 workers were recruited at the session.
Thus, in the first 7 months of 2025, Hanoi has created jobs for 144,736 workers, reaching 85.6% of the 2025 plan, equivalent to an increase of 0.4% over the same period in 2024.
Along with creating jobs for workers, in July 2025, Hanoi issued a decision to receive unemployment insurance for 7,429 people, with the supported amount of 244.55 billion VND; 4,935 workers receiving unemployment insurance benefits were consulted and introduced to jobs; 82 people were supported to learn a trade, with the amount of 345 million VND.
