Traffic congestion is gradually resolved
Nenh Ward (Bac Ninh Province) currently has 4 IPs in operation, including: Quang Chau, Van Trung, Dinh Tram and Viet Han, with a total of more than 209,000 employees. Quang Chau and Van Trung Industrial Parks alone have about 190,000 workers.
However, attracting a large number of workers while the transport infrastructure has not been invested in synchronously according to the plan has caused many problems, such as prolonged congestion and traffic insecurity on expressway service routes, internal roads and axes connecting industrial parks with neighboring areas during rush hour.
In recent times, Bac Ninh province has implemented many immediate and long-term measures to solve the congestion situation around Van Trung and Quang Chau Industrial Parks.
According to the reporter's records in early November 2025, key routes around industrial parks in Nenh ward were cleared and traffic was more stable than when the reporter recorded it earlier in July 2025.
The Traffic Police of Bac Ninh Province Police and traffic order groups of Nenh Ward Police perform professional tasks, dividing the flow into peak hours in the morning and afternoon, from 6 - 8am and afternoon from 5pm - 7:30pm.
Workers' shuttle buses have been arranged in the right place, contributing to reducing traffic congestion compared to before.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Manh - a worker at Van Trung Industrial Park - said: "Thanks to the traffic police force always being on duty to direct traffic, now traveling is much more free, no late at work, no more loss of expertise".
Nenh Ward has also officially implemented a project to install a cooling penalty camera system at the end of October at 15 locations on the expressway service road, expected to be completed in November. When put into use, the project will contribute to raising people's awareness of complying with traffic safety laws.
Urgently build a road connecting 2 industrial parks
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has also just approved the investment policy for the route connecting Van Trung and Quang Chau industrial parks, thereby gradually completing the infrastructure, reducing traffic congestion and promoting local economic development.
According to the investment policy, the route connecting Van Trung and Quang Chau industrial parks is about 2km long, starting from the intersection with Vo Van Kiet Street and ending at Provincial Road 398, in Nenh Ward. The average roadbed is 60m wide, of which the main road surface is 21m wide, the median strip is 6m wide... the total construction land area is about 10.93ha.
The total investment is more than 996 billion VND from the provincial budget, the cost of site clearance, support and resettlement alone is more than 552 billion VND. The project will be implemented in the period of 2026 - 2029. To implement this project, it is necessary to reclaim about 120,000m2 of residential land, related to 77 households in Van Coc 2 residential group and Trung Dong residential group ( Nenh ward).
In order for the project to be completed soon, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has included the project in the "Green Stream" list and implemented it quickly.
According to the Bac Ninh Province Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board No. 1 (investor), the special feature of this project is separating the content of compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance into independent component projects. This will help speed up the project's progress because some tasks will be done in parallel even without a clean site, shortening the implementation time.
