The Department of Education and Training (DET) of Ho Chi Minh City said that in order to implement solutions to overcome traffic congestion in the city, the Department recommends that heads of schools/educational institutions need to implement well the solutions proposed in the documents of the City People's Committee, the Department of Construction, and the Department of Education and Training have implemented and implemented on ensuring traffic safety at educational institutions in the area.

Schools must propagate, disseminate, disseminate and educate about legal regulations on road safety, railway, and inland waterway for staff, teachers, and students.

Educational institutions review and assess the complicated situation of traffic safety during rush hour, which poses a risk to the safety of students, teachers and parents.

Urgently report the actual situation so that the Department of Education and Training can coordinate with relevant departments and branches to take measures to coordinate and overcome the situation.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also issued a daily schooling time frame applicable to preschool children and high school students in the city from the 2025-2026 school year.

In particular, the Department requires educational institutions located near each other on the same route to coordinate in arranging a minimum 15 minute break of school to reduce traffic congestion.
