On the afternoon of May 28, the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Ba Tri Red Trade Union - the predecessor of the Ben Tre Provincial Trade Union - and commend outstanding union officials in 2025.
Attending were Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and leaders of Ben Tre province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor - said: After 95 years, generations of union officials have united, unified their will and actions, bringing the movement of workers, civil servants and union activities in Ben Tre province to new heights.
The Ben Tre Provincial Trade Union has constantly innovated its content and methods of operation, taking union members and workers as the center, and taking practical effectiveness as a measure. Patriotic emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers", "Good at public affairs, good at housework", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", and the programs "Back to the workers", "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", "Union Shelter" ... have truly gone into depth, bringing practical results, contributing to increasingly better care for the material and spiritual life of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 23 Commemorative Medals for the cause of building the Trade Union organization to 23 Trade Union officials in Ben Tre province. At the same time, commend outstanding union officials in union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers.

In addition, the decision was also presented to 8 grassroots union chairmen on the recognition of the "28/7 Award in 2024".
