Spending more than 5 billion VND to organize the Year-end Dinner
On January 9, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that implementing the plan of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation on organizing activities for the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year and the Tet Sum vay program, in order to promote the work of caring for workers during Tet and Spring, the Company's Board of Directors has coordinated with the Executive Committee of the Trade Union to develop a plan to organize "Tet Nien Meal" for workers in 2026.
According to Mr. Quang, the Year-end meal is an opportunity for the company to express gratitude and thank the contributions of employees in 2025, and at the same time show the concern of the Board of Directors for the team of officials and employees who have always accompanied and strived to work, contributing to achieving positive results in production and business activities.
Through this event, the business wishes to create a warm and cohesive space, thereby encouraging and motivating the spirit for employees to continue to strive, join hands to build a stable and developing company in 2026. The New Year's Eve meal was attended by all 13,000 workers working at two facilities of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The venue is Royal Palace and White Palace restaurants, Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province. Each meal is worth 400,000 VND/person, with a total budget of more than 5 billion VND. The organization time is on Sundays, divided into two time frames: Morning from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, starting from January 4th to February 7th, 2026.
Organizing the New Year's Eve meal for a number of up to 13,000 people is not easy at all. However, with the goal of creating a warm, united and meaningful atmosphere during Tet and Spring, we have planned early, closely coordinated with relevant units, and carefully prepared all stages so that the parties take place safely, effectively, and most joyfully" - Mr. Quang said.
Workers feel very warm.
According to the Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd., this is not the first time the business has organized a party for all workers.
Previously, in May 2025, on the occasion of Workers' Month, the company and the Trade Union organized a gratitude party for 13,000 workers. Continuing this activity, the enterprise continued to organize a year-end party to take care of the material and spiritual life of workers.
In addition to the New Year's Eve party, during the recent New Year's Eve, the company gave gifts of cooking oil to 13,000 workers. On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year 2026, the enterprise will continue to organize the Tet Sum vay program, the Company's Trade Union will give Tet gifts to all workers.
In addition, the company implements the 13th month salary bonus and annual leave payment at a rate of 300%.
According to many workers working at Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd., for many years, the enterprise has been assessed as a unit that well implements regimes and policies for employees.
