On February 12, the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province announced that the Provincial People's Committee has issued a labor export plan for 2025. According to the plan, in 2025, 700 workers will go to work abroad for a limited period under contract.
The province also allocated 75 workers to Ca Mau city; 95 workers to Thoi Binh and Tran Van Thoi districts; 65 workers to U Minh district; 90 workers to Dam Doi district; 80 workers to Cai Nuoc and Phu Tan districts; and 60 workers to Nam Can and Ngoc Hien districts.

The implementation of sending Ca Mau province workers to work abroad under contracts aims to solve employment, increase workers' income, contribute to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction, and develop the local socio-economy. Creating conditions for Ca Mau province workers to access advanced science and technology, build and develop highly skilled human resources, meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization, is one of the conditions to attract domestic and foreign investment in Ca Mau province.
