Representing the couples, bride Mai Thi Ngoc Han and groom Nguyen Tan Vy (living in District 12) shared that they were very happy to participate in the mass wedding ceremony organized by the union.
"My wife and I planned to get married a long time ago, but due to lack of resources, we only registered our marriage. Now we have two children. We are very happy because our parents witnessed our wedding today," Mr. Vy said emotionally.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Khanh - Vice Chairman of District 12 Labor Federation - said that the locality has implemented mass wedding ceremonies since 2023 for union members in difficult circumstances.
"Couples who register to participate will receive free wedding photos, wedding cars, wedding dresses, 2 banquet tables to celebrate with friends and relatives... In particular, each couple will also receive a pair of wedding rings and many other meaningful and practical gifts," Mr. Khanh informed.
