Spending more than 2.5 billion VND to organize activities for female workers

Many trade unions directly under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology spend billions of VND to care for female workers.

According to the Vietnam Science and Technology Union (CĐKHCNVN), in the period 2020-2025, the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home" among female workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) in the science and technology sector is being comprehensively and methodically directed by the CĐKHCNVN and closely linked to the political tasks of the sector.

Thanks to that, trade union levels have synchronously deployed propaganda work on the goals, meanings, and contents of the movement; widely disseminated directives and resolutions of the Party, policies and laws of the State and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on women's affairs, gender equality, family and children...

Every year, affiliated trade unions develop plans, integrate movement goals into work programs, and organize practical activities on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8, Vietnamese Family Day June 28, Vietnamese Women's Day October 20... Propaganda work is innovated in a diverse direction, applying digital transformation, through news bulletins, video clips, online workshops, contributing to improving spreading effectiveness.

The work of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of female workers and employees is widely deployed. The implementation of women's labor policies is always concerned and facilitated, many units support regimes that are more beneficial than legal regulations; organize visits, support, and reward children who study well, creating motivation for female workers to feel secure in their work.

Typically, the VNPT Trade Union maintains and implements many more beneficial clauses for female workers in the Collective Labor Agreement: The policy of supporting female workers taking maternity leave in accordance with population policies will be supported once (in addition to social insurance payments) at a rate of 10,000,000 VND/time; in cases of twins or more, from the second child onwards, for each child, an additional support of 5,000,000 VND is provided. The movements "VNPT Creativity", "VNPT Smile", "Digital Transformation in the Digital Age", "Customers are the Belovedest" and "Enthusiastic Green Warrior" are strongly implemented, promoting the spirit of proactiveness and initiative in labor and production.

From 2020-2025, the Trade Union and VNPost professional departments will support 2,568,450,000 VND for 92 grassroots trade unions to organize activities for female officials, employees, and laborers; and at the same time ensure full regimes of salary increases, bonuses, working conditions, meals, sightseeing and vacations... Support 1,000,000 VND/year/child for female workers with children from over 4 months to 6 years old.

In the business sector and financial organizations, female workers and employees have affirmed their key roles in production and business in the fields of post, telecommunications, digital content technology, television and high-tech services. At VNPost, the movements "Improving the quality of postal services", "Innovating the operation of Post Office - Commune Culture", "Vietnam Post - Lighting the fire of love", "Emulating to build post culture and civilization" have been actively responded to by a large number of female workers, creating clear changes in productivity, quality and corporate culture.
