The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has issued Official Letter No. 708/TLD-QHLD on proactively implementing support for union members and workers to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.

On September 29, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued Official Letter No. 645/TLD-QHLD directing localities and sectors with storm No. 10 to report, grasp the situation and proactively coordinate and support union members and workers facing difficulties and losses in human lives and property.

However, through the reflection of some localities and units such as the Hanoi City Labor Federation, Thai Nguyen... where the storm did not pass but was still affected by the storm's circulation (high tides, floods, difficulty traveling) and there were union members and workers who suffered damage or had houses and families in localities affected by the storm, needing support and assistance.

The Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested the provincial and municipal labor federations, central and equivalent industry unions, and corporation-level trade unions under the General Confederation of Labor to proactively implement a number of contents, including continuing to grasp the situation of union members and workers affected by storm No. 10, report and update regularly and daily to synthesize general data according to Official Dispatch No. 645/TLD-QHLD dated September 29, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Along with that, proactively visit, encourage and share with union members and workers according to the decentralization and regulations in Clause 3, Article 5 of Decision No. 1411/QD-TLD dated August 1, 2024 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. In case the units cannot balance their revenue and expenditure in 2025 and the regular operating fund of the Provincial Federation of Labor is still under 15 billion VND, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is requested to provide support.

Along with that, mobilize union officials, union members, and workers with conditions to actively participate and respond to the Appeal of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on donating and supporting flood victims.
