The Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) in collaboration with the Provincial Central Hospital and Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital signed a cooperation agreement and launched the TV show "Happy Journey" in 2025.
In 2025, the 3 units will coordinate to implement 24 "Happy Buses" programs, with a duration of 14 minutes/ program, broadcast on the infrastructure of Dong Thap Province Radio and Television Station.
The program beneficiaries are female union members at all levels in the province who are married and pregnant, meeting the following criteria: Having complicated pregnancy symptoms (with medical examination results from a medical facility), requiring high-quality care conditions; prioritizing the age of pregnancy from 28 weeks or more, having difficult family economic circumstances; introduced by the union organization in the province; prioritizing first pregnancy (can consider second child pregnancy).
Female union members participating in the program are entitled to a full package of services from the time of receipt to the time of giving birth (no additional costs) at Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital. The time is calculated from the time of filming.
Each program tells the story of a female union member's pregnancy, including excitement, excitement and anticipation mixed with anxiety and insecurity. The happy trip of Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital will appear with female union members, bringing sharing and reassurance by taking union members to the hospital for doctors to examine.
The hospital's leaders will give her a "Comprehensive pregnancy check-up" service package, helping the female union member have a healthy pregnancy and welcome the birth of her first child to the overwhelming happiness of the whole family.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - said that this is a new program of practical significance to help female union members reduce some of their difficulties during pregnancy.
"Hopefully, the program will create more motivation and confidence to help female union members in difficult circumstances rise up in life, thereby feeling secure in their work and production, joining hands to build an increasingly strong union organization" - Mr. Tuan said.
