During the past term, the Trade Union of Vinh Long General Hospital has achieved outstanding achievements, excellently completing 10/10 targets of the Congress Resolution, affirming its pioneering role in emulation movements. The union organizes many activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of employees such as "Tet Sum Vay", arts, sports, visiting and supporting union members in difficult circumstances with a total budget of 1.655 billion VND. In addition, the union also mobilizes employees and employees to contribute to social funds, gratitude funds... with a total amount of over 998 million VND, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", showing gratitude to people with meritorious services and contributing to the implementation of the province's social security policies.
Emulation movements have also been launched enthusiastically, creating a positive effect. Typically, the movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework" associated with building a prosperous, progressive, and happy family has had 897 female union members achieve this noble title. The work of Party building was focused on, with the successful introduction of 54 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admission, exceeding 154.28% of the set target, contributing positively to improving the Party's leadership capacity in the unit. The superior trade union has also recognized these efforts with 02 Collective Certificates of Merit and 07 Personal Certificates of Merit from the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation.
Introduce at least 75 outstanding union members to the Party
BSCKII Huynh Thanh Huu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Hospital, Chairman of the Trade Union - affirmed that the motto for the 2025-2030 term is "Innovation of the content and methods of trade union activities for union members and workers".
Key goals include: Developing union members to reach over 99% of qualified civil servants and employees, introducing at least 75 outstanding union members for consideration, training and admission to the Party; 100% of union officials receive professional and skills training; protecting union members' rights, ensuring 100% of cases are consulted when required; promoting the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers", building a unit that meets cultural standards, striving for 98% of civil servants and employees to achieve excellence; at the same time, applying information technology and administrative reform to improve management efficiency. He emphasized that the Union continues to accompany the profession, practically care for union members, contributing to building a civilized, modern and sustainable hospital.
MSc. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Truyen - Party Committee Secretary, Director of the Hospital - emphasized that in the coming term, the hospital will continue to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, modernize management, promote digital transformation of healthcare and administrative reform.
The unit invests in facilities, equipment, and trains a team of highly qualified doctors and nurses to meet the increasing health care needs of the people.
He highly appreciated the role of grassroots trade unions in accompanying the profession, caring for the lives of employees and employees, creating a united and democratic working environment, and at the same time hoped that the trade union would continue to be a bridge between civil servants, employees and leaders, linking the emulation movement with professional tasks, building the hospital into a model, friendly, professional and modern unit.
