On June 6, a working delegation of the Vietnam Trade Union led by Mr. Le An Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union visited, worked and presented gifts to union members and workers of the Foreign Trade Transport Joint Stock Company.
Reporting to the leader of the Trade Union of Vietnam Industry and Trade, Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Lien - Chairman of Trade Union of Foreign Trade Transport Delivery Joint Stock Company, said that the Foreign Trade Transport delivery Joint Stock Company currently has more than 360 officials and employees, including 243 trade union members. Difficult economic context, volatile rates, narrow markets ... are significant pressure for logistics businesses. However, thanks to the close coordination between the Board of Directors of the Company and the Trade Union organization, the unit still keeps the production stable, ensuring all the policies for workers.
In recent times, grassroots trade unions have effectively implemented many activities to care for and protect union members' rights with 100% of workers fully covered by social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; organized periodic health check-ups for nearly 300 people in the first 6 months of 2025; supported sick workers in special circumstances, rewarded children of excellent staff...
The company spends an average of 1-3 months' salary on Lunar New Year, supports outfits up to 5 million VND/person/year, spends bonuses on major holidays and maintains annual cultural, sports, vacation and tourism activities. In addition, the union also mobilizes workers to participate in volunteer movements, support people in flooded areas, victims of Agent Orange...

Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade Le An Hai emphasized: "Today's activities are not simply giving gifts, but are a strong affirmation of the trade union organization's role as a companion and a reliable support for workers, especially in industries strongly affected such as logistics".
Mr. Le An Hai also suggested that grassroots trade unions continue to innovate content and methods of operation, increase the application of technology, and at the same time link trade union activities with the development of corporate culture. In addition, trade unions need to be more proactive in advising Party committees and professionals to develop welfare policies suitable to reality, meeting the increasing needs of workers.
On this occasion, leaders of the Vietnam Trade Union and leaders of the Foreign Trade Transport Supply Joint Stock Company presented gifts to 21 outstanding union members and workers of the company. Each gift includes 2 million VND in cash and 3 essential gift bags worth 500,000 VND.
