On January 16, the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD) organized the 2nd Conference of the Executive Committee, XVIII term (expanded), summarizing Trade Union activities in 2025 and deploying tasks for 2026. Mr. Be Dang Khoa, Chairman of the Provincial LDLD, chaired the conference.
In 2025, trade union levels proactively effectively implemented the theme "Focus on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party".
The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions, especially in the non-state sector, has been promoted; the whole province has newly established 9 grassroots trade unions with 833 union members.
During the year, the Trade Union introduced 294 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration, of which 145 union members were admitted.
Activities to care for and protect workers' rights are implemented synchronously. During the Lunar New Year, trade union levels presented more than 11,600 gifts, with a total budget of over 5 billion VND.
The Trade Union also promptly supported union members affected by natural disasters and storms with a total amount of hundreds of millions of VND; promoted social security activities and built "Trade Union Homes".
Propaganda and education work continues to be innovated, applying digital technology, contributing to raising awareness and skills for union members and workers.
In 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation set out many key targets such as developing 500 new union members, establishing 8 grassroots trade unions; 85% of enterprises with grassroots trade unions sign collective labor agreements; 90% of grassroots trade unions apply digital technology in operations.
On this occasion, 74 individuals were awarded the Medal "For the Cause of Building the Vietnam Trade Union Organization".
